Most of the actors playing in it are the screenwriter-director, friends, students or teachers of Gabor Reich
Chronology
Abel is a high school student who is trying his best to concentrate on his final exams, while hopelessly in love with his best friend Janka. Due to the film’s subject matter, the Hungarian government did not provide funding for the film, so it had a small budget and crew.
After leaving the cinema, I felt robbed – not only in terms of money, but also in terms of time
This movie was a total piece of crap, it doesn’t know what it wants to be, and to be honest, it just doesn’t make any sense at all – I’m saying this as a Hungarian. There were a few scenes in it where I thought, “Wow, nothing’s happening at last,” but the director decided to just leave these themes as they are, not continuing them at all.
I think this is a perfect example of how not to make a movie
This poorly made script could have been staged in less than a hour, but this slow, tragically bad performance by the actors in most cases leads to excruciatingly long dialogues and scenes. It had potential, they could have created some comparison with the socialist regime in the past, but the terrible director allowed this topic to dissolve in the air.
1/10 (I would put 0, to be honest)
I would not recommend watching this trash to anyone who loves movies.
