The third and final film in Pablo Larrain’s so-called "Lady with Heels" The female-led biographical trilogy follows Jackie (2016) and Spencer (2021).

Angelina Jolie’s amazing lead role holds this film together so well, and I appreciate how much she commits to the role, especially the operatic singing.
It’s a beautifully shot and directed film
The plot is a bit clunky and the pace is slow, but I still think the film is entertaining enough to enjoy and educational about the era and opera in general. I love the editing and the black and white cinematography is stunning.

I think this is a solid film by Pablo Larraín, and an Oscar winner for Angelina Jolie. One of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of the month.
